WMS Systems Manager – 3PL Operations Whitestown, IN | On-Site A leading third-party logistics provider is seeking an experienced WMS Systems Manager to oversee Warehouse Management System configuration, optimization, integration, and support across a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is both strategic and hands-on — ensuring the WMS operates seamlessly while driving improvements that enhance accuracy, throughput, and customer service. What You’ll Do • Own the performance, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System across multiple operational areas. • Lead system design, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting to support daily fulfillment and inventory processes. • Serve as the primary liaison between operations, IT, engineering, and external WMS partners. • Analyze operational workflows and translate requirements into WMS configurations or system enhancements. • Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, training materials, and process maps. • Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime. • Support new customer onboarding, integrations, and process migrations. • Partner with leadership to identify automation and optimization opportunities that improve KPIs. • Train super-users and warehouse staff on system functionality, best practices, and new features. What You Bring • 5+ years of experience in WMS administration or systems management within a 3PL, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environment. • Strong expertise with major WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder/JDA, HighJump/Körber, Synapse, Softeon, etc.). • Hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, root-cause analysis, and integration support. • Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose system issues quickly. • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Experience supporting automation, scanning technology, RF systems, or inventory control processes is a plus.
