How This Role Makes a Difference We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to support the preparation, review, negotiation and management of a wide range of contracts throughout their lifecycle. This role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure contracts align with company policies, regulatory standards, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or clinical research industries and the ability to manage multiple agreements in a fast-paced environment How You'll Make An Impact Duties include but not limited to: Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements, including NDAs, event agreements, statements of work, and vendor services agreements, using approved contracts playbooks Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, Global Expansion and Business Development teams on contract interpretation, guidance and risk mitigation strategies Monitor and ensure timely execution of contracts and assist with lifecycle management Handle contract amendments, extensions and terminations as needed Support legal operations initiatives as assigned Assist with training sessions and guidance for internal stakeholders on contract processes and CLM usage Support special projects and other legal tasks as assigned by the Contracts team leadership The Expertise Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum of 4 years of contract experience, including knowledge of contract principles and procedures Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Works well independently as well as in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Certifications, Education, and Experience: BA/BS degree required How We Work Together Physical Requirements This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment. Travel Requirements This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
