Position Overview As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in executing quality programs and procedures, particularly in areas such as recalls and customer complaints. You will support the Manager of Quality Assurance in conducting audits and providing actionable insights to address complex quality challenges. With your advanced expertise, you will also mentor junior specialists and actively participate in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Key Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements, including the management of product recalls and submission of regulatory reports after thorough internal review. • Implement and oversee internal quality programs, providing essential support to stakeholders to help them comply with internal and external quality assurance standards. • Identify and address significant quality issues through root cause analysis, quality metrics reporting, and collaboration with colleagues across specialty areas to develop effective recommendations. • Participate in the Change Control Program, assessing quality assurance implications for operational and product changes in your area of expertise. • Update standard operating procedures in line with changes in products and regulatory requirements, under the guidance of the Manager. • Prepare materials and responses for regulatory inquiries and audits, gathering necessary information from relevant stakeholders. • Assist in quality audits and inspections in regional distribution centers, documenting quality issues, and drafting insightful reports for operations stakeholders. • Provide guidance to junior specialists on complex issues, assist in training new hires, and review their work before escalation to management. Qualifications • 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a related field. • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred. What We Expect from You • Apply your knowledge of quality assurance concepts and technical skills to a variety of tasks. • Engage in projects of varying scope and complexity, and take the initiative to solve technical challenges. • Utilize sound judgment within established guidelines. • Work with general guidance and receive more specific instructions for new projects. • Your work will be evaluated for accuracy and sound reasoning. Work Schedule • This full-time position requires 40 hours per week on a night schedule, typically Monday - Friday from 2:00 am to 11:00 am or 4:00 am to 1:00 pm, and every other Saturday. • Flexibility in shifts may be necessary based on business demands, and candidates must be prepared to stay until daily tasks are completed. Salary and Benefits Anticipated Salary Range: $68,500 - $88,020.
