Manage and document US import/export compliance for pharmaceuticals and hazardous materials, coordinate with carriers and partners, and support trade management systems and critical projects.
2-4 years experience in US import/export compliance, pharmaceutical and hazardous material shipping, knowledge of trade regulations and systems, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Description: • Establish Global Trade aspects for new US import/export lanes and new part numbers • Gather product information to support HTS, ECCN, and Country of Origin validation • Gather transactional backup to support Valuation Methodology valuation • Support contract review and Incoterms validation • Supplier and Customer set up in Trade Management system and partner screenings • Manage 3PL and carriers for air, ocean, truck, including radiopharmaceutical shipments • Prepare US import/export documentation, broker instructions, export filing and entry compliance • Manage KPIs including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation • Work with destination sites and origin partners on CTPAT qualifications and processes • Use AES Direct, Livingston’s Tradesphere and other systems for EEI filing and customs clearance • Document and communicate import/export job aids and requirements • Support critical projects and other teams within Cardinal Health Requirements: • 2-4 years of experience • Experience with filing US Import and Export declarations • Experience with NRC and DEA regulated exports • Experience importing Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices • Experience with shipments of radioactive hazardous material • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills • Experience with HTS and ECCN determination and Country of Origin validation • Knowledge of Incoterms, valuation methodology, and broker instructions • Experience with AES Direct, Livingston’s Tradesphere, or other Trade Management Systems • Experience managing 3PL, carriers, and customs house brokers Benefits: • Medical, dental and vision coverage • Paid time off plan • Health savings account (HSA) • 401k savings plan • Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) • Short- and long-term disability coverage • Work-Life resources • Paid parental leave • Healthy lifestyle programs
