The Title Curative Specialist I is responsible for resolving complex title issues and ensuring all escalated issues relating to title are handled swiftly. This position serves as second-level support for title-related issues and acts as the direct point of contact for title vendors, borrowers, and internal teams.
A high school diploma or GED is required along with 1-2 years of customer service experience and 6 months to 1 year of title experience. Candidates should possess exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Apply below! Who We Need: The Title Curative Specialist I is responsible for ensuring all escalated issues relating to title are handled with swift resolution. This position serves as second-level support for title-related issues and as the direct point of contact for title vendors, borrowers, and internal teams. The Title Curative Specialist I is responsible for resolving complex title issues. What You Will Do: Responsible for finding solutions to challenging scenarios with the ability to find acceptable solutions for clearing titles in addition to explaining conditions to borrowers and loan originators alike. Investigates, researches, and resolves issues with the title commitment. Assists with subordination, payoffs, HOA items, and other title matters as needed. Reviews complex vesting issues, orders QCD, and verifies any transfer fees. Represents the organization to internal and external customers, vendors, and other organizations by providing exceptional customer service and effective communication skills, both written and oral. Acts as second-level support for requests within the chat platform. Acts as a point of contact for vendor escalated issues for title. Responsible for validation of current taxes on escalated files. Resolves non-responsive title vendors, extended turn times, declined orders, etc. Validates any transfer/mortgage tax associated with deeds. Proactively troubleshoots escalated title issues and provides resolutions. Addresses, resolves, and responds to any concerns related to the approval of the title commitment and consumer experience as it relates to the underwriting approval and surrounding requirements, all while providing exceptional customer service. Assists in coordination and communication of rush orders. Communicates guidelines and company requirements to title vendors as needed.. Develops effective professional partnerships with all colleagues. Performs other related duties as assigned. What You Need: High school diploma or GED required. 1-2+ Years customer service experience is required. 6 Months - 1+ Years Title experience is required. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills. Exceptional computer skills. Demonstrated success in taking direction and comprehending training. Demonstrated ability to work closely within a team structure and adapt well to change. Must have exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and/or Google G-Suite is preferred. Working knowledge of vendor websites, reporting data and escalation processes is preferred. Exceptional customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. Familiarity with mortgage process and mortgage documents is preferred. Working knowledge of proprietary software Octane is preferred. Demonstrated success in gathering, interpreting, and summarizing reporting data within various software programs is preferred. Demonstrated success operating in multi-faceted direction and planning; must be a fast paced individual. Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to title processing including required documentation, agency guidelines, and internal escalation processes. The expected base salary for this position ranges from thirty three thousand dollars to fifty two thousand dollars, determined based on the applicant's experience, skillset, education, training, certificates, and licenses.
