Apply below! Who We Need: The Pricing Desk Manager is responsible for the development and execution of Cardinal’s point of sale pricing, inclusive of Mandatory and Correspondent products. In addition, the Pricing Desk Manager will implement and monitor processes that manage the risk associated with point of sale pricing. What You Will Do: Develop, recommend and leverage different pricing strategies to drive the pricing model with the goal of maximizing company profits. Lead, mentor, and develop senior and junior Pricing Desk Analysts. Oversee team performance and provide ongoing training and development. Manage the daily pricing process, including the derivation, generation, and distribution of daily rate sheets for Retail and Wholesale channels. Serve as the key owner and calibrator of the company's pricing model. Ownership of special projects assigned by the Senior Vice President, Capital Markets, or Vice President, Pricing Desk. Monitor and evaluate margin performance at the investor, product, and channel level. Adjust strategies in response to market movements and business needs. Implement and manage margin strategies to support competitive positioning and revenue growth. Provide detailed margin reporting, forecasting, and insights to executive stakeholders on a regular basis. Collaborate with the Product Team to evaluate investor announcements, guideline updates, new product developments, and provide operational impact summaries. Act as the escalation point of contact for the Pricing Desk and any pricing or margin related questions. Maintain open communication with the Product Team to ensure updates are implemented accurately and timely across systems and teams. Draft and edit general policies and procedures, serving as a resource to the Pricing Desk for policy and procedure development. What You Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field required. 7+ years of relevant work experience in Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets required. 4+ Years experience in Pricing required. 4+ Years experience in the Mortgage Industry required. Modeling experience preferred. SQL experience required. Experience with pricing derivation software such as Innovient Optimizer or Optimal Blue required. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio preferred. Strong understanding of statistics is preferred. Ability to provide insight and guidance. Data driven, analytical with ability to think critically. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks. Ability to analyze large data sets. The expected base salary for this position ranges from one hundred twelve thousand dollars to one hundred fifty seven thousand dollars, determined based on the applicant's experience, skillset, education, training, certificates, and licenses.
