This position acts as the central communication hub between customers, technicians, managers, and warehouse staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency. --- Key Responsibilities:Call Handling & Dispatching: • Receive and respond to incoming emails and phone calls professionally and promptly. • Create service calls in SAP Business One (B1). • Dispatch appropriate team members based on urgency, skillset, and availability. • Maintain clear, courteous, and professional communication with both customers and internal team members. Scheduling & Coordination: • Schedule and assign technicians, crews, or equipment according to job requirements and availability. • Communicate status updates to customers, including scheduling confirmations, job completions, or delays due to parts availability. • Adjust dispatch plans in response to delays, emergencies, or last-minute changes. Operational Monitoring: • Track vehicle routes, job statuses, and technician locations in real-time using fleet monitoring tools. • Log and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in SAP Business One (B1). • Proactively identify and escalate any operational issues to appropriate personnel. Cross-Functional Communication: • Serve as a central communication point between field personnel, customer service, warehouse staff, and management. • Use phone, email, and Microsoft Teams to facilitate timely and accurate information exchange. --- Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor’s degree (preferred). • Prior experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or customer service. --- Skills and Abilities: • Background in a customer-focused or service dispatch environment. • Familiarity with scheduling or routing, fleet tracking tools, or dispatch platforms. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. • High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset. • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in fast-paced or emergency situations. • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team collaboration skills. --- Work Conditions: • Office located within a warehouse environment. • May involve shift work, and occasional overtime (evenings or weekends). • Daily use of computers, phones, and vehicle tracking systems.
