Role Overview: As a Regional HVAC Service Trainer, you will play a critical role in enhancing the technical skills and knowledge of our service teams across multiple locations. Your expertise will ensure that our technicians are well-equipped to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and ventilation systems, supporting CaptiveAire’s commitment to quality and service excellence. What You'll Do: - You will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for HVAC service technicians and support staff. - You will assess training needs and customize content to address specific regional challenges and product updates. - You will conduct hands-on workshops and virtual training sessions to ensure practical understanding. - You will collaborate with product development and service teams to stay current on new technologies and system enhancements. - You will evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, making improvements as needed. - You will travel regionally to provide on-site training and support to service teams. - You will maintain detailed training records and reports to track progress and compliance. - You will serve as a technical resource and mentor for service technicians, fostering continuous learning. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service, installation, or technical training. - Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen ventilation systems and HVAC equipment. - Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train diverse teams. - Ability to travel regionally as required for on-site training sessions. - Proficiency with training software and virtual learning platforms. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment industry. - Certification in HVAC or related technical fields. - Background in adult education or instructional design. - Familiarity with CaptiveAire products and systems.
