Description Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who shall be responsible for creating, sustaining, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows including data storage, data transport, data management, data security, data compliance, and knowledge store management. Additional tasking shall include working with the mission customer to perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform and convert the raw data into the required formats. The Software Engineer shall also be responsible for devising methods to improve existing operational data flow processing, distribution, and reliability Requirements Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Required Skills: Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python Experience designing and implementing Java solutions Experience with Apache NiFi system administration Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) Desired Skills: Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain Perl scripts and applications This position is open for direct hires only.
