Position Title: Project Coordinator (Temporary / As-Needed) Employment Type: Temporary – On-Call / As-Needed Basis Reports To: President and Vice President Location: Washington, D.C. (100% In-Person) Compensation: $25.00 per hour Language: Required Conversational Level in one of the following languages- Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai , Mongolian, Tagalog/Filipino Position Overview The Project Coordinator (Temporary) supports short-term and ongoing projects across Captivate Perspectives’ divisions. This position is designed for professionals who can be available to assist on an as-needed basis when projects require additional coordination, administrative, or logistical support. The coordinator ensures that assigned tasks are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with Captivate’s quality standards. This role is similar to working within a temporary staffing assignment, where the individual may be called upon to provide project support for training sessions, special events, data tracking, or reporting efforts based on organizational needs. Key Responsibilities • Support projects in planning, organizing, and executing project tasks and deliverables. • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications among internal teams and external partners. • Assist in preparing project documentation, including reports, presentations, and correspondence. • Track project milestones, deliverables, and expenditures, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgets. • Support logistics for training programs, workforce development sessions, and community events. • Collect, compile, and analyze data related to program outcomes and participant engagement. • Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation complies with company and client standards. • Respond promptly to internal and external requests for information and updates. • Conducting research and creating written documents based on the research. • Represent Captivate Perspectives with professionalism and a customer-service orientation in all interactions. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience in project coordination, administration, or operations). • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a project, administrative, or operations support role — preferably within consulting, nonprofit, or workforce development environments. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management or CRM tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams. • Experience in event coordination, data entry, or client service is a plus. Work Schedule and Compensation • Work assignments are based on project demand; hours may vary week to week. • This position is paid hourly and may include assignments ranging from several hours to multi-week engagements. • Compensation is commensurate with experience and project requirements.
