A globally renowned industrial manufacturing organization seeks to hire an EHS Manager at their flagship production operation in Southeast Michigan. This role will be a part of the senior leadership team and be responsible for leading all safety and environmental activities (programs and personnel) for the highly profitable site. This is a full-time, permanent/direct-hire opportunity. Primary Responsibilities: • Lead and execute plant safety and environmental programs for the production site in a way that promotes a safety-first culture throughout the plant. • Own OSHA compliance, audits (internal and external), and inspections. • Investigate incidents and near-miss occurrences, perform root-cause analysis, and drive sustainable corrective actions. • Develop and execute EHS training programs. • Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance to mitigate hazards. • Manage, develop, and mentor EHS personnel. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required. EHS, Engineering, or other technical discipline preferred. • 5+ years of EHS experience within manufacturing environments. • Deep understanding of OSHA regulations/requirements and plant-level safety management systems. • Proven ability to promote, communicate, and positively influence EHS-conscious culture.
