Make high-quality practice questions that actually challenge students. Capstone Tuition is growing our bank of NSW Selective/OC/HAST-style items and Year 4–9 materials. We’re hiring freelance Question Writers to craft original questions (with model solutions) we can use in lessons, homework sets, and mock exams. What you’ll do • Write clear, original questions across English/Reading, Maths Reasoning, and Thinking Skills (we’ll assign subjects based on your strengths). • Provide fully worked solutions and mark schemes for every question. • Follow our style guide: multi-step reasoning, fair difficulty, no guess-and-check. • Package questions into sets (per brief): with item metadata (topic, skill, difficulty). • Respond to editor feedback and revise quickly where needed. Who this suits • Senior high-school students (Y11–12), uni students, grads, teachers, or anyone with strong subject mastery and writing skills. • People who enjoy puzzle-making, logic, and clean explanations. • Reliable communicators who can meet simple deadlines while choosing their own hours. Training & support • Onboarding included: rubrics, exemplars, and a short training call so you know exactly what “Capstone-quality” looks like. • Ongoing editor feedback to help you level up quickly. Pay & hours • Competitive per-question or per-set pay (paid per approved item). • Fully remote, choose your hours. • Casual freelance engagement; workload is flexible and can scale with quality and consistency. Quality & integrity • All work must be original (no AI copy/paste or plagiarism). • We run spot checks; items may be revised or rejected if not aligned with the brief. Location • Remote.
