As a Lead Software Engineer, you will serve as both a Salesforce Service Cloud expert and technical leader within the Power team, part of the Service Agile Release Train. You'll lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud CRM capabilities that empower frontline associates to efficiently manage customer transactions and deliver best-in-class experiences. Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud CRM solutions supporting enterprise customer service operations. Facilitate solutioning sessions to deliver innovative, scalable Salesforce workflows and automations. Act as an individual contributor, mentor, and leader, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Deliver aligned, high-impact technology solutions based on business objectives. Continuously optimize Salesforce applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Design and deliver Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities supporting Policy Owner Services frontline associates. Meet performance goals: 90% story point completion, <5% reopened defect rate, 80-90% unit test coverage. Ensure all code is backed by automated integration, interaction, and end-to-end testing per enterprise standards. Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code adhering to security, quality, and DevOps best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives to drive team improvement. Provide technical support during off-hours deployments and production releases as needed. Follow enterprise security, communication, and contingency policies to maintain compliance and readiness. Use Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence for collaboration, tracking, and issue resolution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with extensive hands-on Salesforce development. Proven ability to lead, architect, and deliver customized Salesforce solutions using best practices and modern DevOps principles. Advanced expertise in Salesforce development including Flow Builder, Apex, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and guided flows. Experience with Visualforce and email-to-case logic (plus). Strong Salesforce administration and architecture experience designing scalable, customer-focused solutions. Deep understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud configuration, automation, and integration strategies. Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via RESTful APIs, MuleSoft, and External Objects. Familiar with API design patterns, data modeling, and secure data exchange practices. Strong focus on maintainable, testable, reusable code following SOLID principles and version control standards. Experience with Flosum or similar tools for deployment, versioning, and CI/CD automation. Skilled in producing clear technical documentation, design specifications, and system diagrams. Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams. Proficient in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases translating business needs into technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex systems and integrations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across distributed, cross-functional teams.
