The Data Analyst will create, maintain, and develop customized reports for internal and client reporting needs. They will analyze multiple data sets to identify trends and provide recommendations for process improvements and reporting automation.
Candidates should have some college coursework in business administration, computer sciences, or a related discipline. Strong analytical skills and experience with data management systems are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Overview Under the supervision of manager, establishes, maintains, and creates customized reports for internal and client reporting requirements. Identifies, distinguishes and analyses multiple sets of data, using high-level quantitative and analytical skills to ensure accurate, timely, and clearly represented reports. Duties may include tactical and strategic operations analysis, identifying performance trends, assessing business/industry trends, reviewing and interpreting sales, financial, or transactional data. Considers customer requirements to determine proper design and representation of data on reports and identifies new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities Creates, maintains, and develops client reporting and management information reports. Provides recommendations for process improvements, reporting automation, and data collection activities. Uses technology to create customized and standardized reports. Performs QA/QC activities prior to submitting reports to management for final approval. Supports organizational “Program” objectives through support on individual projects, project interfaces, and management-directed initiatives and performance deliverables. Maintains a working knowledge of technology and reporting trends and recognized potential implications to the organization and its clients. Assists with the creation and modification of revenue/pricing models. Provides reporting and feedback to management as required. Qualifications Some college coursework - business administration, computer sciences, or relative discipline. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff. Strong analytical skills including the ability to gather and interpret internal and external data and turn needs into defined, measurable customer requirements. Experience with relocation services preferred. Business process and/or data analysis/data collection/data management. Spreadsheet, data management systems experience to include data collection, data analysis, configuration, and/or reporting. Must be proficient using PowerPoint, Microsoft Office suite, databases, spreadsheets, and forms.
