What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain full stack applications that drive the Capital One Shopping platform. - You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. - You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. - You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - You will troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure platform reliability. - You will contribute to architectural decisions and help improve system scalability. - You will mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in full stack software development. - Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and related web technologies. - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms. - Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with AWS or other cloud services. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Background in e-commerce or shopping platforms.
