Role Overview: As the Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture for Data Security Pre-sales, you will lead a team of architects in designing and presenting cutting-edge security solutions that address complex client challenges. Your role is pivotal in bridging technical expertise with business needs to drive successful sales engagements and foster long-term client relationships. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of solutions architects focused on data security pre-sales activities. - You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop tailored security solutions for clients. - You will engage with clients to understand their security requirements and articulate Capital One’s value proposition. - You will design and present technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to prospective customers. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform solution development. - You will contribute to the development of best practices and frameworks for data security architecture. - You will manage multiple pre-sales projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. - You will provide strategic input to product teams based on client feedback and market insights. What You Bring: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in solutions architecture or a related technical leadership role. - Strong expertise in data security technologies, including encryption, identity and access management, and threat detection. - Proven experience in pre-sales or client-facing technical roles within the financial services or technology sectors. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud security platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. - Background in software development or engineering.
