Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in Solutions Architecture focusing on Data Security Pre-sales, you will lead a team of architects to design and present secure, scalable solutions that meet client needs. Your role is critical in bridging technical expertise with business strategy to drive successful sales engagements and foster long-term client relationships. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of solutions architects specializing in data security to deliver high-impact pre-sales support. - You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop tailored security architectures that address client challenges. - You will engage directly with clients to understand their security requirements and articulate the value of Capital One’s solutions. - You will design and present technical proposals, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts that showcase our security capabilities. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. - You will contribute to the development of best practices and frameworks for data security within the pre-sales process. - You will manage multiple complex sales opportunities simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions. What You Bring: - You have 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture or a related technical leadership role, with a focus on data security. - You possess deep knowledge of data security technologies, including encryption, identity and access management, and cloud security. - You have proven experience in pre-sales or client-facing roles, effectively communicating complex technical concepts. - You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. - You demonstrate strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams. - You have excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to align technology solutions with business goals. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with financial services industry security standards and compliance requirements. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
