Role Overview: As the Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture for Data Security Pre-sales, you will lead a team of architects in designing and delivering secure, scalable solutions that meet our clients' complex data security needs. You will play a critical role in driving technical strategy, collaborating with sales teams, and ensuring our solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of solutions architects focused on data security pre-sales engagements. - You will collaborate closely with sales and product teams to develop tailored security solutions that address client challenges. - You will design and present technical architectures that demonstrate the value and security of our offerings. - You will stay current with emerging data security technologies and industry trends to inform solution development. - You will manage multiple pre-sales projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations. - You will engage with clients to understand their security requirements and provide expert guidance. - You will contribute to the development of best practices and frameworks for data security architecture. - You will partner with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. What You Bring: - You have 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. - You possess deep expertise in data security technologies, including encryption, identity and access management, and cloud security. - You have a strong background in pre-sales engineering or technical sales support. - You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - You have experience working with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS. - You hold a relevant technical degree or certifications in cybersecurity or cloud architecture. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Capital One’s technology stack or financial services industry. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty. - Proven success in managing remote teams and cross-functional collaboration. - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation tools.
