Role Overview: As the Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture for Data Security Pre-sales, you will lead a team of architects in designing and delivering secure, scalable solutions that meet our clients' complex data security needs. You will play a critical role in shaping our pre-sales strategy by collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure our offerings align with market demands and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of solutions architects focused on data security pre-sales engagements. - You will collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored security architectures. - You will design and present technical solutions that address data protection, compliance, and risk management. - You will drive the evaluation and adoption of emerging security technologies and best practices. - You will partner with product management to influence the roadmap based on customer feedback and industry trends. - You will manage complex RFP responses and proof-of-concept demonstrations. - You will ensure alignment of security solutions with Capital One’s compliance and regulatory standards. - You will foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to build trust and credibility. What You Bring: - 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with at least 4 years in data security or related fields. - Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a pre-sales or consulting environment. - Deep knowledge of data security technologies, including encryption, DLP, IAM, and cloud security. - Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Experience working in agile environments and collaborating cross-functionally. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry or with large enterprise clients. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Background in product management or strategy development.
