Job Title: Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture (Data Security Pre-sales) - Remote Company Overview: Capital One is a leading financial services company committed to using technology and data to transform the banking experience. Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in Solutions Architecture focused on Data Security Pre-sales, you will lead a team of architects in designing and presenting secure, scalable solutions that meet client needs. Your role is critical in bridging technical expertise with business strategy to drive successful sales engagements and foster long-term client relationships. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of solutions architects specializing in data security to deliver high-impact pre-sales support. - You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop tailored security architectures for prospective clients. - You will engage with clients to understand their security challenges and articulate Capital One’s value proposition effectively. - You will design and present technical solutions that address complex data security requirements and compliance standards. - You will drive the creation of technical proposals, proof of concepts, and demonstrations to support sales efforts. - You will stay current with emerging data security technologies and industry trends to inform solution development. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-sales processes and best practices. - You will represent Capital One at industry events and client meetings to enhance our market presence. What You Bring: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in solutions architecture or a related technical leadership role, with at least 4 years in data security. - Proven expertise in designing and implementing data security solutions, including encryption, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks. - Strong understanding of cloud security architectures and technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in financial services or regulated industries. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty. - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools. - Experience working in a fast-paced, agile sales environment.
