Your role is pivotal in driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable software that meets real customer needs. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. - You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using Profile, PSL, and MUMPS. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals. - You will mentor and coach engineers to enhance their technical skills and career growth. - You will ensure code quality and best practices through code reviews and automated testing. - You will drive continuous improvement in software development processes and tools. - You will manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet deadlines. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions. What You Bring: - 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. - Strong expertise in Profile, PSL, and MUMPS programming languages. - Proven experience in leading software development teams and delivering complex projects. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. - Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle management. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry or with banking software. - Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices. - Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in project management or software development.
