Your role is critical in managing production incidents, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of production support engineers to deliver high-quality support services. - You will oversee incident management processes, ensuring timely resolution and communication. - You will collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and implement root cause fixes. - You will develop and maintain production support strategies and best practices. - You will analyze system performance metrics to proactively address potential issues. - You will manage stakeholder relationships and provide regular status updates. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support efficiency and effectiveness. - You will ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in production environments. What You Bring: - You have 7+ years of experience in production support or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and incident management frameworks. - You have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - You are proficient in monitoring and alerting tools like Splunk, New Relic, or Datadog. - You demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. - You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
