Your role is critical in managing incident response, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a high-performing production support team to ensure timely resolution of incidents. - You will develop and implement strategies to improve system reliability and reduce downtime. - You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. - You will oversee incident management processes, ensuring clear communication and documentation. - You will analyze production metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. - You will drive automation initiatives to streamline support workflows and enhance efficiency. - You will manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party support when necessary. - You will foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence within your team. What You Bring: - 7+ years of experience in production support or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, incident management, and ITIL practices. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern monitoring tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams. - Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry or with large-scale enterprise applications. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform. - Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
