What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a high-performing production support team to ensure timely resolution of incidents. - You will develop and implement strategies to improve system reliability and reduce downtime. - You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to identify and resolve root causes of production issues. - You will oversee incident management processes, including communication and escalation protocols. - You will analyze production metrics and generate reports to inform leadership and guide decision-making. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support workflows and automation. - You will manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party support when necessary. - You will ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in production environments. What You Bring: - 7+ years of experience in production support or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, incident management, and ITIL practices. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and monitoring tools like Splunk or New Relic. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams. - Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and prioritize effectively. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry or with large-scale enterprise applications. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Experience with automation tools and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
