Job Description: • Conduct in-depth market industry research: Be an expert on the complex and dynamic market landscape of data security, data management, and adjacent domains, including topics like market trends and disruptive technological advances • Know the competitive landscape: Monitor competitors’ business models, product offerings, pricing strategies, and M&A activities to have a consistent pulse on the competitive landscape to inform strategy recommendations, GTM motions, and product roadmap; identify "white space" in the market where competitor offerings are failing to meet evolving enterprise needs • Deliver executive briefings: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by delivering insight-backed briefings and strategic recommendations based on key industry trends and competitive dynamics; be the “go to” person for market insights across the Software business • Cultivate cross functional relationships: Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders across Capital One Software including Strategy, GTM, Product, and Product Marketing • Build out market and competitive intelligence program: as a new functional role for Capital One Software, you will get to build the competitive intelligence program from the ground up, shaping how it is developed. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering) • At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis • At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis • At least 1 year of experience in people management • At least 1 year of experience in project management • Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering (Preferred) • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis (Preferred) • 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis (Preferred) • 2+ years of experience in people management (Preferred) • 2+ years of experience in product development (Preferred) • 2+ years of experience in financial modeling (Preferred) • 2+ years of experience in economic forecasting (Preferred) • 2+ years of experience in project management (Preferred).
