What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing systems using cloud-native technologies. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - You will build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability. - You will implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. - You will monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high performance and reliability. - You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - You will stay current with emerging data engineering trends and technologies to continuously improve our data infrastructure. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. - Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Google Cloud. - Expertise in building and managing ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions. - Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the financial services industry. - Knowledge of data security and compliance standards such as GDPR or CCPA. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Background in machine learning or data science collaboration.
