What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using modern cloud technologies. - You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions. - You will optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency in a cloud environment. - You will implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information. - You will troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure data integrity and availability. - You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices. - You will stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, preferably in financial services. - Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. - Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka. - Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. - Familiarity with data modeling, ETL design, and data warehousing concepts. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Certifications in cloud technologies or data engineering. - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
