Role Overview: As a Senior Cryptographic Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Manager, you will lead the development and management of Capital One's PKI systems, ensuring robust cryptographic security across the organization. This role is critical in protecting sensitive data and enabling secure digital transactions through innovative cybersecurity strategies. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of PKI infrastructure to support enterprise security needs. - You will manage a team of cybersecurity professionals focused on cryptographic solutions and PKI operations. - You will develop and enforce policies and procedures related to cryptographic key management and certificate lifecycle. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI solutions into various business applications. - You will monitor emerging cryptographic technologies and threats to recommend enhancements to existing systems. - You will oversee incident response related to cryptographic security breaches and vulnerabilities. - You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements concerning cryptographic practices. - You will provide expert guidance and training to stakeholders on PKI and cryptographic security best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 4 years focused on PKI and cryptographic key management. - Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards such as RSA, ECC, TLS, and X.509. - Proven experience managing PKI infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. - Expertise in security frameworks and compliance standards like NIST, FIPS, and ISO 27001. - Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of delivering complex security projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based PKI solutions and automation tools. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. - Background in threat intelligence and incident response related to cryptographic systems.
