Role Overview: As a Senior Cryptographic Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Manager, you will lead the development and management of Capital One's PKI systems, ensuring robust cryptographic security across the organization. Your role is critical in protecting sensitive data and enabling secure communications through innovative cybersecurity strategies. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of PKI infrastructure to support enterprise security needs. - You will manage a team of cybersecurity professionals focused on cryptographic solutions and PKI operations. - You will develop and enforce policies and procedures related to cryptographic key management and certificate lifecycle. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI solutions into various business applications. - You will monitor emerging cryptographic threats and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks. - You will oversee compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cryptographic security. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and security of PKI services. - You will provide expert guidance and training to stakeholders on cryptographic best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 4 years focused on PKI and cryptographic key management. - Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards such as RSA, ECC, TLS, and X.509. - Proven experience managing teams and leading complex security projects. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, FIPS, and PCI DSS. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Experience with security tools and platforms related to PKI management. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. - Experience with cloud-based PKI solutions and automation tools. - Background in threat intelligence and incident response related to cryptographic security. - Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in secure identity management.
