Role Overview: As a Senior Cryptographic PKI Lead, you will spearhead the development and implementation of advanced cryptographic and PKI solutions to protect sensitive data and infrastructure. Your expertise will drive the design and delivery of cutting-edge cybersecurity measures that safeguard Capital One’s digital assets. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design, deployment, and management of PKI systems and cryptographic solutions. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security protocols into financial products. - You will analyze emerging threats and develop strategies to mitigate cryptographic vulnerabilities. - You will oversee the lifecycle management of digital certificates and encryption keys. - You will mentor and guide junior engineers and security professionals. - You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of security architecture and policies. - You will communicate complex cryptographic concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Bring: - 7+ years of experience in cryptography, PKI, and cybersecurity. - Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and standards (e.g., RSA, ECC, TLS, X.509). - Proven experience managing PKI infrastructure in large-scale environments. - Expertise in security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, FIPS, and PCI DSS. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Strong communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based PKI solutions and automation tools. - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. - Background in financial services or regulated industries.
