Role Overview: As a Senior Cryptographic PKI Lead, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust cryptographic solutions that protect sensitive data and ensure secure communications. You will lead initiatives that leverage threat intelligence, data analysis, and design thinking to enhance our cybersecurity posture. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design, development, and deployment of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions across the enterprise. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic technologies into Capital One’s security architecture. - You will analyze emerging cybersecurity threats and develop strategies to mitigate risks related to cryptographic systems. - You will oversee the management and lifecycle of digital certificates and cryptographic keys. - You will mentor and guide junior team members on PKI best practices and cryptographic standards. - You will ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and security of PKI operations. - You will communicate complex cryptographic concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Bring: - You have 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cryptographic technologies and PKI. - You possess deep knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, digital certificates, and key management. - You have hands-on experience with PKI platforms, certificate authorities, and related security tools. - You demonstrate strong leadership skills with experience leading technical teams. - You have excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - You hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the financial services industry. - Familiarity with cloud-based PKI solutions and hybrid environments. - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, or GDPR. - Experience with automation and scripting for PKI management.
