Role Overview: As a Senior Cryptographic PKI Lead, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced cryptographic solutions that protect our digital assets and customer data. You will lead initiatives that enhance our Public Key Infrastructure, ensuring robust security frameworks that support Capital One’s mission to deliver secure financial services. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design, development, and deployment of PKI solutions across the enterprise. - You will collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and product teams to integrate cryptographic technologies. - You will manage and mentor a team of PKI engineers and analysts. - You will develop and enforce security policies and best practices related to cryptographic key management. - You will conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to strengthen PKI systems. - You will stay current with emerging cryptographic standards and technologies to drive innovation. - You will oversee incident response related to cryptographic security events. - You will communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Bring: - 7+ years of experience in cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure management. - Strong expertise in cryptographic algorithms, key management, and certificate lifecycle management. - Proficiency with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, FIPS, and ISO 27001. - Experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale security projects. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud-based PKI solutions and automation tools. - Knowledge of blockchain technologies and their cryptographic applications. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
