What You'll Do: - You will lead the design and implementation of complex software systems with a focus on scalability and performance. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. - You will mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. - You will drive architectural decisions and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack. - You will ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions. - You will participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives. What You Bring: - 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments. - Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in other languages such as Python or Scala considered a plus. - Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and microservices architecture. - Proven experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. - Experience leading technical teams and driving projects from conception to deployment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry or with fintech products. - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data engineering concepts. - Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
