Role Overview: As the Manager, Technical Deployment Strategist, you will lead the deployment of complex software solutions that support Capital One’s digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technology products that meet business needs. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute deployment strategies for new software products and updates. - You will coordinate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery. - You will manage risks and resolve issues that arise during deployment phases. - You will lead and mentor a team of deployment specialists to enhance their skills and performance. - You will analyze deployment metrics and provide insights to improve processes. - You will communicate deployment plans and status updates to stakeholders at all levels. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the deployment lifecycle. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize deployment efficiency. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in technical deployment or software release management. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Experience working in regulated industries, preferably financial services. - Proficiency with deployment tools and automation technologies. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Background in software engineering or development. - Certification in project management (PMP, Scrum Master). - Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
