Role Overview: As a Manager, Technical Deployment Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the deployment of Capital One’s software solutions across various business units. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation, aligning technical strategies with business goals to accelerate digital transformation initiatives. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage technical deployment projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. - You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to develop deployment strategies. - You will identify and mitigate risks associated with software deployment in a regulated environment. - You will communicate deployment plans and progress to stakeholders at all levels. - You will drive continuous improvement in deployment processes and methodologies. - You will mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and strategic skills. - You will analyze deployment metrics to inform decision-making and optimize outcomes. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the deployment lifecycle. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in technical project management or deployment strategy roles. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment methodologies. - Experience working in regulated industries, preferably financial services. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Proficiency with project management tools and data analysis. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure deployment. - Background in agile methodologies and DevOps practices. - Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment. - Advanced certifications in project management (PMP, Agile, etc.).
