Role Overview: As a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Profile, PSL, and MUMPS, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable software solutions that integrate complex data systems. You will lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet business objectives and enhance customer experiences. What You'll Do: - You will lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications using Profile, PSL, and MUMPS. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - You will mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - You will ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system reliability and performance. - You will contribute to architectural decisions and help define technical standards. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years working extensively with Profile, PSL, and MUMPS. - Strong proficiency in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. - Experience leading engineering teams and managing project deliverables. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry. - Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices. - Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. - Certifications related to software development or project management.
