What You'll Do: - You will lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines and architectures to support commercial loan servicing operations. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions. - You will ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms. - You will mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - You will optimize data workflows for performance and scalability. - You will troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions. - You will stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate. - You will contribute to the development of data governance policies and best practices. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and managing data pipelines. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor a team. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in commercial loan servicing. - Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Advanced certifications in data engineering or cloud technologies.
