What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and architectures. - You will lead technical strategy and innovation for data engineering initiatives. - You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to integrate data solutions. - You will mentor and guide junior engineers to foster technical growth. - You will ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards. - You will evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools. - You will contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering. - You will communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Bring: - 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields. - Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala. - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS. - Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database systems. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial services industry. - Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and data science workflows. - Advanced certifications in cloud technologies or data engineering. - Experience working in agile development environments.
