Full Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver projects supporting U.S. government clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in federal government contracting, excels at managing scope, schedule, and budget under compliance-driven environments, and holds a current PMP certification. This role requires close coordination with government stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful contract execution. Responsibilities:  * Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts from kickoff through closeout * Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects in accordance with PMP best practices * Ensure compliance with federal regulations and contract requirements (FAR, DFARS, agency-specific guidelines) * Serve as the primary point of contact for government contracting officers and CORs * Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports * Lead cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and vendors * Track performance against contract deliverables, SLAs, and milestones * Identify and mitigate risks; manage change requests and contract modifications * Prepare and present project briefings, metrics, and documentation to stakeholders * Support audits, reviews, and government reporting requirements Required Qualifications:  * PMP certification (active and in good standing) – required * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field * 5+ years of project management experience, with significant experience in government contracting * Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes * Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) * Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance - US citizenship is required Preferred Qualifications: * Experience managing federal contracts (DoD, DHS, VA, or civilian agencies) * Experience with cost-plus, fixed-price, and IDIQ contracts * Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certifications * Experience supporting proposal development or transition-in activities
