Where no two days are the same.About The Role You Are ConsideringAs a Senior Program Manager at Capgemini Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex manufacturing programs in a two-in-a-box model to drive manufacturing initiatives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.In this role you will play a key role in:Leading cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex manufacturing programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goalsManaging day-to-day activities and status across all programs, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring transparency in communicationDeveloping and maintaining comprehensive program plans, schedules, and budgets, while monitoring progress against established milestones and KPIsFinancial forecasts and budgets for manufacturing programs, including resource allocation, capital expenditures, and operational costsCreating and presenting detailed financial performance reports that track actual spending against budgeted amountsConducting regular financial health assessments of programs and communicating potential risks or opportunities to senior leadershipCollaborating with finance teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting across all program workstreamsEstablishing and managing relationships with multiple vendors and suppliers within the manufacturing ecosystemDeveloping integrated work plans that coordinate deliverables across internal teams and external partnersCreating clear communication protocols and governance structures for multi-vendor environmentsFacilitating regular cross-vendor meetings to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and dependenciesManaging vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAsResolving conflicts and addressing issues that arise between different vendor teamsCoordinating integration points between vendor-delivered components to ensure cohesive program outcomesImplementing and overseeing Agile methodologies to enhance team productivity, adaptability, and delivery excellencePreparing and delivering leadership and senior-leadership reporting, including program status, risk assessments, and mitigation strategiesIdentifying, analyzing, and mitigating program risks and issues, ensuring proactive resolution to minimize impact on deliverablesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring program outcomes align with their expectationsCollaborating with internal teams to ensure resource availability, allocation, and optimization across program initiativesBasic Qualifications10-15+ years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on manufacturing environmentsMust be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder or Permanent ResidentMust Have QualificationsEngineering degree with specialized knowledge in manufacturing processes and technologiesProven experience implementing and working with Agile methodologies in complex program environmentsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive manufacturing initiatives in collaborative modelsStrong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering results in challenging environmentsExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively report to and engage with senior leadershipComprehensive understanding of program and risk management frameworks and methodologiesExperience working in automotive or related manufacturing industries is highly desirablePMP, Agile, or other relevant program management certifications are a plus How You Will Grow In This RoleDeepen Your Automotive & Manufacturing ExpertiseBuild advanced knowledge in vehicle manufacturing, automation, and high‑volume productionWork directly with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, and EV innovatorsGain end‑to‑end experience from prototype to launchLead High-Impact, Multi-Million-Dollar ProgramsDrive cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, quality & operationsOwn program strategy, schedules, KPIs, and high-stakes deliveryInfluence outcomes that directly impact vehicle performance and production efficiencyAdvance Your Financial & Business LeadershipOwn forecasts, budgets, and manufacturing cost managementStrengthen executive skills in financial reporting and decision-making Command Multi-Vendor & Cross-Functional EcosystemsManage relationships across suppliers, toolmakers, integrators, and internal teamsLead all parties toward unified, on‑time program deliveryMaster Agile in a Manufacturing EnvironmentApply Agile frameworks across hardware and manufacturing programsBecome a leader in modern, adaptive delivery models for automotiveGrow Your Executive PresencePresent program health, risks, and strategy to senior leadershipBuild strong client relationships and shape key manufacturing initiatives The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $93,800.00 - $224,910.00Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
