Role Overview: As the Senior Group Product Manager for our Product Information Management (PIM) product, you will own the strategic direction, roadmap, and growth of Canto’s PIM offering. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to shape a compelling vision and execution plan that scales the product’s capabilities and deepens integration with our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in Product Information Management (PIM) or eCommerce SaaS platforms. This background is essential for navigating the complexities of product data management, content syndication, and integration within a multi-system ecosystem. You should have strong strategic product leadership capabilities, communicate effectively across diverse audiences, and work closely with Engineering, UX, Support, Customer Success, and Sales to prioritize outcomes that drive customer and business value. Role Responsibilities: Own & drive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Canto’s PIM product offering. Manage and mentor one or more Product Managers, providing hands-on coaching in product discovery, prioritization, execution, and career development. Hold the team accountable to measurable outcomes and objectives. Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps. Lead roadmap planning, communicate priorities across the organization, and ensure alignment with cross-functional stakeholders. Lead headcount planning for your area, including hiring decisions and team structure design to support long-term business outcomes. Foster a collaborative, innovative and customer focused culture across your team and with peers in Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Customer Sucess. Maintain deep expertise in the PIM and e-commerce ecosystem, including trends in AI metadata automation, product content syndication, and competitive landscape. Use these insights to drive differentiation. Oversee product development from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards. Identify opportunities to leverage AI to automate product data enrichment, metadata tagging, and workflows that connect PIM to DAM and other systems. Qualifications & experiences required to be successful in this role: 8+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment, ideally with experience in digital asset management or related fields. 4+ years of experience managing and developing product managers, with demonstrated leadership skills. Direct experience working in PIM and/or eCommerce platforms is required; familiarity with DAM or content management ecosystems is strongly preferred. Strong customer curiosity & empathy with demonstrated ability to turn insights into validated, valuable product outcomes. Strategic thinking paired with executional rigor—you can define a compelling vision, break it down into milestones, and deliver against it with urgency and focus. A proactive mindset—you take initiative, identify opportunities, and drive them forward, while also knowing when to align and seek buy-in. Track record of successful and productive cross-functional collaboration, especially with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Customer Success teams. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey complex product decisions clearly to executive stakeholders, technical teams, and customer-facing functions. Proficiency with product development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma/FigJam, and Pendo.
