You will support the logistics and supply chain teams by providing expert guidance on trade compliance, helping to mitigate risks and optimize operational efficiency. What You'll Do: - You will manage and oversee customs compliance processes to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. - You will conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance practices across the organization. - You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve customs and trade-related issues. - You will develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on customs and trade compliance requirements. - You will monitor changes in trade regulations and update company policies accordingly. - You will prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance and regulatory reporting. - You will support the implementation of trade compliance strategies to minimize risks and costs. - You will assist in responding to government inquiries and audits related to customs and trade compliance. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in customs and trade compliance within a corporate or logistics environment. - You possess strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade agreements. - You have experience with customs brokerage, classification, valuation, and tariff schedules. - You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - You are proficient in using trade compliance software and Microsoft Office applications. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the technology or electronics industry. - Certification such as Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified Export Specialist (CES). - Familiarity with global trade compliance frameworks and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). - Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
