We are experiencing tremendous growth – and are currently seeking a Leasing Consultant for one of our communities in San Bernardino, CA. LEASING CONSULTANT DUTIES: • Sales/Leasing & Marketing: • Answer phones; respond to email inquiries • Correct spelling and grammar are a must • Follow-up with prospects regularly • Provide prospective residents with tours of our property and model • Regularly review ads and notify manager of needed (or suggest) updates • Assist with maintaining high-occupancy/low-vacancy • Generate leads by seeking referrals • Convert phone calls to tours and tours to leases • Administrative: • Process applications • Verify application information • Follow-up with applicants concerning missing information or documentation • Generate accurate rental agreements • Maintain accurate records, both applicant and resident • Resident Relations: • Assist residents with maintenance requests; follow-up to ensure completion • Help with delivering notices/letters/etc. to residents • Work closely with the manager to ensure resident satisfaction LEASING CONSULTANT REQUIREMENTS: • Our communities are open 7-days per week; therefore, weekends are required • General sales/closing skills – proven exceptional closing ratio • Articulate and professional – you will be the ‘first impression’ of our community • Welcoming demeanor and comfortable speaking in front of group • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in a difficult situation • Experience using general office equipment, including copier, computer, and associated programs/software • Knowledge of property management software – i.e. Yardi/On-Site (preferred) • Property Management experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person Cannon Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
