We deliver timely weather (tiempo) updates, severe weather coverage, and educational storytelling across a multi-platform ecosystem (streaming + app + web + social). Role Summary We’re hiring a Commission-Only Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Representative to prospect, pitch, and close advertisers and sponsors for Canal Meteo. This role is fully remote and open to candidates in any U.S. city. You’ll sell multi-platform packages including: • App placements: tiles + banners • Push notifications (sponsor-branded when relevant) • 24/7 streaming ad spots + integrations • Branded content: short-form video (Reels/Shorts) and sponsored segments • Web placements (when applicable) • Podcast You own the full sales cycle: outbound outreach → discovery → proposal → negotiation → close → handoff. Compensation • 15% commission on collected revenue (not invoiced revenue) for new deals you close • Year-end bonus based on performance (total collected revenue and/or number of new sponsors closed) • Flexible schedule; performance-based Responsibilities • Build pipeline through outbound prospecting (email, calls, LinkedIn, networking) • Identify decision-makers at SMBs, agencies, and regional brands • Run discovery calls and present packages clearly • Negotiate and close sponsorship/advertising agreements • Coordinate campaign handoff for smooth launch • Track pipeline consistently (CRM preferred) Qualifications • B2B sales experience (media/digital ads/sponsorships preferred; comparable B2B ok) • Strong outbound prospecting and closing skills • Excellent communication + negotiation • Self-directed and organized in a remote role • Familiarity with the Spanish-speaking U.S. market is a plus • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus • Degree preferred but not required
