CES/AWS is looking for a Customer Service Representative – 2nd Shift Location: Louisville, KY Pay: $26/hour Status: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: 2nd Shift Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Customer Service Representative for a 2nd-shift, temp-to-hire opportunity in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for supporting customer order processing, maintaining accurate system data, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities • Receive, process, and verify the accuracy of customer orders and purchase orders. • Respond to customer service requests, including order changes, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel. • Handle customer inquiries and work to resolve order-related issues. • Load and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and update routing instructions as required. • Use a computer workstation to extract and analyze order information for reporting. • Perform system maintenance and updates across various electronic order files. • Enter required changes into SAP based on production needs, BOM updates, and relief files. • Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the Customer Service Department. • Prepare and distribute daily reports, order acknowledgments, invoices, and test certificates. • Support APQP activities in collaboration with the Quality Department. • Provide back-up support to team members such as the Supervisor or Inventory Specialist. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience; automotive manufacturing experience preferred. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to coordinate with Production to meet customer demands. • Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office. • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and exercise sound judgment.
