Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects by performing a range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of building and renovation work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have a willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry. Responsibilities • Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. • Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as directed by supervisors. • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Follow instructions from project managers to complete tasks efficiently. • Help with the installation of structures, including framing, drywall, and roofing as needed. • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs. • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on-site. Requirements • Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not necessary; willingness to learn is essential. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods. • Ability to work in all weather-related environments, such as hot and cold temperatures, dusty environments. • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus. • Be able to pull and back a trailer. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. • Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. • A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions or projects.
