Join Cambridge Mental Health as a Skilled Therapist in Boston, MA (Afternoon/Evening Shift) Cambridge Mental Health, a premier outpatient mental health practice in Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our growing team. We’re looking for a master’s-level clinician who is comfortable and confident working afternoon/evening hours to accommodate clients after work and school. Your Role: • Design personalized treatment strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals • Conduct individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches • Regularly assess progress and adjust treatment plans as clients’ needs evolve • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care providers, and other professionals for coordinated care • Create thoughtful aftercare and discharge plans when appropriate for outpatient setting • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation • Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources as needed • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and state/federal regulations (Note: This list reflects core responsibilities; additional duties may evolve based on practice needs.) What You Bring: • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage & family therapy, or related field • Active Massachusetts mental health license (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or psychologist) or license-eligible • Training and experience in evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, ACT, etc.) • Excellent communication, empathy, and clinical judgment • Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality • Comfort and availability to work primarily afternoon/evening hours • Experience with diverse populations and various presenting concerns preferred What We Offer: • Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (commensurate with experience and licensure) • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, EAP, generous PTO, and paid holidays • Supportive, collaborative team environment with regular clinical consultation and supervision (if needed) • Continuing education reimbursement and professional development opportunities • Beautiful, modern office space in Back Bay, easily accessible by public transit Job Snapshot: • Type: Full-time, salaried • Schedule: Monday–Thursday 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (no weekends) • Location: In-person at our Cambridge office Ready to bring your clinical skills to a thriving, clinician-friendly practice in the heart of Boston?
