The Senior Software Engineer is a technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex game systems, tools, and features across multiple platforms. This role drives technical excellence through innovative solutions, strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on building efficient, scalable, and high-quality systems that enhance player experiences. The Senior Software Engineer works independently on advanced projects, ensuring stability, performance, and creative alignment across the development pipeline. Main Job Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement core gameplay systems, tools, or backend services with minimal supervision. Develop and maintain complex game features, networking components, or platform integrations. Ensure performance, stability, and code quality through rigorous testing and documentation. Collaborate with designers, artists, and production teams to translate creative concepts into efficient technical implementations. Profile, analyze, and optimize code for memory usage, speed, and scalability across multiple platforms. Conduct peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards and consistency. Integrate and support advanced third-party SDKs, APIs, and platform services. Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to long-term engineering strategies. Identify and recommend process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and new technologies. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field and 4+ years of professional experience in software or game development, including operating on one or more live titles or large-scale software projects. OR 6+ years of professional experience in software or game development, including operating on one or more live titles or large-scale software projects. Advanced proficiency in C++, C#, or similar programming languages. Strong understanding of game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or proprietary tools. Expertise in gameplay systems, rendering, physics, or networking. Skilled in debugging, profiling, and optimizing code for performance and scalability. Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce) and build automation tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in systems architecture, AI programming, gameplay frameworks, or online services. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Deep passion for gaming and building world-class interactive experiences. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to documentation of technical pipelines. The L.A.
