We are seeking a highly skilled Technician to support production operations across various plant locations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to diagnose equipment issues, participate in line overhauls, and provide critical support to plant teams, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities • Offer specialized support to plant maintenance teams and internal technicians, enhancing their capabilities and contributing to overall operational efficiency. • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations of production lines to proactively identify potential issues and areas for improvement. • Collaborate within a team to execute annual line rebuilds and overhauls, ensuring equipment is restored to peak condition. • Pinpoint the underlying causes of equipment malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Propose necessary parts and labor requirements for upcoming rebuilds/overhauls, facilitating efficient planning and resource allocation. • Participate in specialized training programs focused on specific machine centers to maintain and enhance technical proficiency. • Contribute to the evaluation of technician skills through written assessments, aiding in the identification of training needs and skill gaps. • Facilitate on-the-job training for technicians, sharing expertise and promoting continuous learning within the team. Qualifications Required Skills • Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. • Proven experience in a technical role with increasing responsibilities. • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Preferred Skills • 6+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. • Experience managing projects and coordinating teams. • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a given machine center.
