This entry-level position involves hands-on service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, helping to maintain Calgon Carbon's reputation for excellence and reliability. What You'll Do: - You will perform routine maintenance and inspections on filtration and purification systems at customer sites. - You will troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will install new equipment and upgrades according to company standards. - You will document service activities and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. - You will provide technical support and training to customers on system operation and maintenance. - You will adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all field activities. - You will collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction. What You Bring: - You have 1-2 years of experience in field service, technical support, or a related role. - You possess strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. - You have excellent communication and customer service abilities. - You are comfortable working independently and managing your schedule. - You hold a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel within the Boston area. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with water treatment or environmental equipment. - Technical certifications related to mechanical or electrical systems. - Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in field service. - Previous experience working in a remote or customer-facing role.
